LNBTI Alumnus Mr. Asith Ishantha Returns with Japanese Delegation to Create Opportunities for Sri Lankan Students

We are thrilled to highlight the inspiring journey of Mr.Asith Ishantha, a proud alumnus from LNBTI’s second graduating batch, who is currently excelling in Japan’s tech sector.Asith now serves as Lead Engineer in the Product Division at ALTURA Inc., also known as ALTURA X (アルトゥーラクロス) – a cutting-edge Japanese biotechnology company that leverages technology to advance healthcare and improve lives.Demonstrating his commitment to giving back, Mr. Ishantha returned to Sri Lanka alongside two senior executives from ALTURA X:Mr. Hideto Sasakura, Founder & CEO of ALTURA X Inc.Mr. Youhei Yamashita, Director & Chief Product Officer (CPO)During their visit to LNBTI, the delegation expressed a strong interest in fostering collaborations and creating new career opportunities for Sri Lankan students in the fields of biotechnology, information technology, and health innovation.Asith is not only leading projects in Japan but also managing a dedicated Sri Lankan team, reflecting the international potential and leadership qualities of LNBTI graduates.This visit marks a significant milestone for LNBTI, underscoring the institute’s commitment to connecting its students with global opportunities through strong alumni and industry partnerships.Asith’s remarkable journey from a student at LNBTI to a key figure in a pioneering Japanese company is a powerful testament to the impact of vision, hard work, and the right educational foundation.
