TokyoTech University students play Cricket with Anuradhapura Central College Cricket Team
During TokyoTech University students’ stay in Sri Lanka, they were able to play Cricket with Anuradhapura Central College Cricket team. Both the teams were very excited about this new experience, and they enjoyed it a lot. The Principal, Vice Principals, teachers, and students took part in this special occasion, and the principal thanked LNBTI for giving such opportunities for students in Anuradhapura, as they were able to play and interact with International students.
3 Gaga Heads perform at Rathnapura
3 GAGA HEADS from Japan, are a comedy performance trio of WAHAHA HOMPO. For the first time in Sri Lanka, they started a circle of performances throughout the country. During their visit to Rathnapura – Sri Lanka, they entertained a lot of students and teachers of Rathnapura on 18th September, 2023 Dulshika Dilrukshi sensei, one of the renowned Japanese senseis of Rathnapura, took the initiative to gather hundreds of students. In a remarkable achievement, Prof. Ananda Kumara, the Vice Chancellor of LNBTI, the esteemed Japanese IT university in Sri Lanka, has been honored with the 2023 𝙅𝒂𝙥𝒂𝙣 𝙁𝒐𝙧𝒆𝙞𝒈𝙣 𝙈𝒊𝙣𝒊𝙨𝒕𝙚𝒓’𝒔 𝑨𝙬𝒂𝙧𝒅 on 15th September, 2023 at the Japanese Ambassador’s Residence in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Prof. Ananda Kumara’s dedication to Japan’s education landscape spans over 40 years, and he has notably served as the founding dean for the Faculty of Foreign Studies at Meijo University in Japan. His Excellency Mr. MIZUKOSHI Hideaki, the Ambassador of Japan to Sri Lanka initiated this official ceremony together with local and foreign delegates, at his residence in Maitland Palace, Colombo 07.We, the LNBTI team, extend our heartfelt congratulations to him for this well-deserved recognition and for his continued commitment to serving the nation.

3 GAGA HEADS from Japan, are a comedy performance trio of WAHAHA HOMPO. With their unique performances, they have toured 31 countries around the world and brought laughter to children and adults.For the first time in Sri Lanka, they started a circle of performances throughout the country. During their visit to SL, they entertained hundreds of students and teachers of Badulla Central College on 14th September, 2023LNBTI team together with Prof. Ananda Kumara, joined this visit as well
LNBTI meets the Principal & students of St’ Thomas College – Bandarawela
On September 13th, the LNBTI team paid a visit to Bandarawela area and had a good discussion with the Principal of the School.As the next session, the LNBTI team interacted with the school students and explained about the opportunities in Japan upon completion of the degree.

TokyoTech University conducts a STEM Education Session for Mahinda College, Galle
On September 12th, the TokyoTech university students conducted an Interactive session on STEM education for Mahinda College, Galle students. The Kandyan Wes Dancers together with the Principal Mr Maddumahewage warmly welcomed the Japan-Sri Lanka team. During the session, the TokyoTech University students and LNBTI undergraduate students actively interacted with Mahinda College students in group activities
Career Guidance Session for Students After A/Ls around Anuradhapura Area
LNBTI paid a visit to Anuradhapura on 11th September, 2023 for a qualitative Career Guidance Session targeting the students who are just after their A/Ls. This session was held at the VIP Lounge of Seedevi Restaurant, Anuradhapura. Enthusiastic students with their parents took part in this session to get to know about the opportunities that are opened for them from Japan.
Informative Session for Students After O/Ls around Anuradhapura Area
LNBTI paid a visit to Anuradhapura Central College on 11th September, 2023 for an Informative Session for students who are just after their O/Ls. These O/L students with new hopes who are stepping to their next step A/Ls, found excited about the opportunities that are opened to them from Japan.
