LNBTI

This morning, we embraced mindfulness!

On May 29th, from 8:00-9:00 AM at the Main Campus, our session was led by Ven. Homagama Kusala Dhamma Thero from Mithirigala Nissarana Aranya Senasanaya. Together, we focused on the present moment—a truly wonderful experience for our LNBTI students.

Exciting developments from Tokyo!

During a special courtesy visit to the Japan Parliament Office Building, invited by Japan Diet Member Mr. Takakazu Seto, our Vice Chancellor of LNBTI had a fruitful discussion about enhancing collaboration in IT education. Mr. Seto expressed great interest in LNBTI’s education model, which aligns well with Japanese university standards. This meeting also highlighted the pressing demand for IT engineers in Japan—a gap LNBTI is preparing our students to fill. Mr. Seto is enthusiastic about supporting LNBTI’s unique approach to education, aiming to bridge the connection between our students and Japanese IT industries.

Japanese Delegation Visits LNBTI, Explores Future Collaboration Opportunities

The afternoon at our Main Campus was marked by engaging sessions, initiated by a visit from the Japanese delegation. This visit by the delegation to LNBTI followed several discussion sessions led by Professor Ananda Kumara during his recent trip to Japan. Prior to arriving at LNBTI, the delegation visited the MetaTechno Inc. Head Office in Japan, where they met with Mr. Ikura Kazuyuki, Director, and Mr. Koga Michio, Chairman of LNBTI. During their interactions with our students, the delegation was pleased to note that LNBTI students have developed strong Japanese language skills and a solid understanding of IT. The delegation expressed their eagerness to continue formal discussions with LNBTI, exploring potential opportunities for recruiting our students after they complete their academic programs.
