LNBTI Hosts Delegation from Saitama Institute of Technology, Japan for Collaborative Ventures

On December 6th, 2023, Lanka Nippon BizTech Institute (LNBTI) had the honor of hosting two esteemed professors from the Saitama Institute of Technology. The primary objective of their visit was to explore possibilities for fostering collaboration between the students of LNBTI and Saitama Institute of Technology. During their visit, discussions centered around organizing a special interaction session between the two institutes, with plans underway to bring 20 students from Saitama Institute of Technology to Sri Lanka in March 2024. The envisioned interactive study mission aims to provide a unique opportunity to students in both countries.

LNBTI Workshop with JICA on Sri Lanka-Japan Ties

On December 6th, 2023, LNBTI had the privilege of hosting a workshop conducted by two volunteers and a representative from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The primary objective of the workshop was to enhance the cultural relationship between Sri Lanka and Japan. The delegations engaged LNBTI students in a comprehensive workshop and discussion, shedding light on the vast opportunities within the Japanese IT industry for our students. This unique interaction not only increased our students’ desire to pursue careers in Japan but also garnered positive feedback from Japanese industry experts about their skills and cultural understanding.

Japanese Investors Explore Investment Opportunities at LNBTI

In a notable event on November 27, 2023, Japanese investors journeyed from Japan to visit Lanka Nippon BizTech Institute (LNBTI), Sri Lanka’s pioneering Japanese IT university. The visit underscored the robust ties between the two nations, as the investors expressed keen interest in investing in LNBTI, recognizing it as a promising venture that could yield both countries. The institute’s unique proposition, offering IT degree programs after O/L and A/L examinations and guaranteeing a pathway to secure professional IT jobs in Japan, resonated with the investors. The delegation not only explored immediate investment possibilities but also expressed a desire to forge long-term partnerships, aligning LNBTI with their vision for the future. This visit signifies the growing collaboration between Japan and Sri Lanka in the field of education and technology, fostering opportunities for both nations.

JASA Representative’s Visit to LNBTI

Mr. Tomoyuki Iwanaga, the Managing Director of Global Innovation Consulting Inc & Ms. Daisy Thang from Japan conducted a special session for LNBTI students on 31st January 2023
