Student-Centered Learning in a Blended Environment

A staff training session on “Student-Centered Learning in a Blended Learning Environment”, scheduled to be held on 02nd April 2026 at the Research Lab, Main Building.
This session will be conducted by Prof. Hewagamage, Head of Academics, and is designed to equip educators with practical strategies to enhance teaching effectiveness in modern, technology-driven learning environments.
Participants will gain valuable insights into:
- Student-centred teaching strategies
- Effective LMS / Moodle course design
- Techniques to enhance student engagement
- Use of online tools in higher education
The workshop will take place from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, offering a dynamic platform for academic staff to refine their pedagogical approaches and adapt to blended learning models.
