Japanese Delegates’ Visit

We had the honor of welcoming a delegation of Japanese executives to explore potential recruitment opportunities for our graduates. The visiting team, led by Mr. Rohan Pallewatta and accompanied by 2 to 3 Japanese company executives, engaged with LNBTI representatives including Bhashini Sensei, Nelushi Sensei, Dr. Manjula, and Amara San. We appreciated the opportunity to discuss these valuable opportunities with them.

On behalf of Lanka Nippon BizTech Institute (LNBTI), we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research’s READ JAPAN PROJECT 2023 and The Nippon Foundation for selecting LNBTI as a recipient of these invaluable books. We were honored to receive this generous donation from the esteemed staff of the Japanese Embassy during their recent visit to our campus.These books will play a vital role in enhancing our students’ knowledge, particularly those in our newly introduced study program, which equips graduates to join Japanese IT companies upon completing their Japanese language Diploma and IT degree. By deepening their understanding of Japanese society, culture, and values, these resources will significantly contribute to their future success in Japan.A special thanks was extended by Mr. Viduranga, President of the Japanese Club, alongside the other club members, and our Vice Chancellor, Professor Ananda Kumara, who represented LNBTI at this memorable occasion. We also express our deep appreciation to the Japanese Embassy in Sri Lanka and to the donors, including the Read Japan Program and the Japan Foundation, whose support strengthens the bridge between Sri Lanka and Japan as we strive to cultivate globally competent graduates.We are sincerely grateful for this valuable contribution to the academic and cultural growth of our students. We were thrilled to welcome a special VIP delegation from the Japanese Embassy this past Wednesday, We received a generous donation of 150 books on various aspects of Japanese culture. A heartfelt thanks to the Deputy Ambassador and the Cultural Affairs officials for this enriching gift.

Tokyo Tech Students Celebrated ‘Japanese Day’ at LNBTI
On August 26th, LNBTI warmly welcomed exchange students from Tokyo Tech, marking their first day with a vibrant celebration of ‘Japanese Day.’ This special event was a deep dive into Japanese culture, featuring engaging activities such as origami folding, Shodou (Japanese calligraphy), and an introduction to various cultural traditions. The exchange students and LNBTI community came together to share and learn, fostering a unique bond through cultural exchange. The day was filled with enthusiasm and artistic expression, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
