Throughout my career at Metatechno Inc., Japan, I have witnessed the remarkable skills and dedication of Sri Lankan engineers. Their ability to adapt, excel in teamwork, and uphold the highest quality standards has consistently contributed to the success of our projects. It is clear to me that Sri Lankan youth possess the talent, discipline, and technical brilliance needed to shine in Japan’s world-class IT industry.
Today, Japan faces a severe shortage of IT professionals a gap of over 300,000 engineers, expected to rise to 700,000 by 2030. This presents an extraordinary opportunity for Sri Lankan youth to step forward and become a vital part of Japan’s digital future. However, the key to unlocking this opportunity lies not only in technical knowledge, but also in Japanese language skills, cultural understanding, and a commitment to quality.
This is why we established Lanka Nippon BizTech Institute (LNBTI) to create a transformational pathway for Sri Lankan students.
