Vice Chancellor

Prof. Ananda Kumara (Ph.D., TokyoTech) is a distinguished educationist and technology visionary, currently serving as President/Vice Chancellor of Lanka Nippon BizTech Institute (LNBTI), Sri Lanka. He holds the title of Professor Emeritus at Meijo University, Japan, and is the President of the Japan Association for Global Competence Education (JAGCE). With a remarkable academic and leadership career, Prof. Kumara has previously served as the Founding Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Studies at Meijo University and as Deputy President of Suzuka International University, Japan. His work bridges global education and technology, emphasizing practical learning, cross-cultural collaboration, and the development of future-ready professionals. Prof. Kumara’s vision continues to drive innovation in higher education and nurture globally competent leaders.
