Two Levels of Quality Assurance

LNBTI follows QA at two main levels

Institutional Quality Assurance

This focuses on the overall standards of the institute, including:

management and governance
facilities and learning environment
student support services
policies and procedures
staff development
stakeholder involvement

Degree Programme Quality Assurance

This ensures that each programme:

is properly designed
follows approved standards
is relevant to industry needs
is delivered effectively
is continuously improved

Internal and External Review

All quality assurance activities are:

✅ reviewed externally

External reviews happen periodically and may lead to:

official approval
certification
accreditation

For example:

The Software Engineering programme approval was granted to LNBTI through a Cabinet Gazette notification after completing the required Quality Assurance process. The same applies to our affiliated degree programmes, where we follow foreign university standards and quality requirements.

LNBTI has a formal Quality Assurance By-Law, which provides the framework for:

Center for Quality Assurance (CQA)

LNBTI has a dedicated division called the Ceneter For Quality Assuarance

The CQA:

coordinates all QA activities
supports continuous improvement
works with academic and administrative units
ensures policies are implemented

There is also:

a Quality Assurance Coordinator (academic)
QA administrative staff
student representation through the Quality Assurance Student Cell

Student Feedback and Stakeholder Input

Student feedback is a critical part of QA.

We collect feedback every semester to:

improve teaching
update curriculum
enhance facilities
support student needs

industry partners
external reviewers

Continuous Improvement and Accreditation
