LNBTI Japanese IT University was honoured to welcome the President, Vice President, and HR Department Manager of Kohoku Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., the Sri Lankan office of Kohoku Kogyo Co., Ltd., Japan, for a valuable discussion on future internship and employment opportunities for our students.
Kohoku Kogyo is a respected Japanese manufacturing company with advanced technologies in electronic and optical components, supporting industries such as communication networks, automobiles, industrial equipment, AI servers, and global fiber-optic infrastructure.
The meeting was attended by Professor Ananda Kumara, Vice Chancellor of LNBTI, together with Sadoi Sensei, Head of the Department of Japanese Language, Tsutsumi Sensei, and Kobayashi Sensei. The discussion focused on how LNBTI students can contribute to Japanese-related industries through their IT knowledge, Japanese language ability, discipline, and understanding of Japanese work culture.
This visit is another important step in strengthening LNBTI’s industry partnerships and opening new career pathways for Sri Lankan students in globally connected Japanese companies.
