During their visit, we introduced LNBTI’s academic programmes and key initiatives, held a Q&A session with our students, and guided the delegation on a campus tour.
For many of the participants, it was a new and meaningful experience to learn that Sri Lanka has a university-level higher education institute established through an initiative by Metatechno Inc., a Japanese IT company, in collaboration with hSenid, a leading local IT company.
The delegation showed particular interest in LNBTI’s IT degree programmes, which are designed to prepare graduates for career opportunities in the Japanese IT industry after completing their studies.
The visit also provided a valuable opportunity for our students to interact directly with Japanese professionals who are actively engaged in business and entrepreneurship overseas.
We are pleased that this visit enabled our guests to gain a deeper understanding of LNBTI, our academic environment, and our students.
