LNBTI held its Inaugural Convocation 2025 on 14th November at the BMICH, Colombo, awarding degrees to the first cohort of BSc (Hons) Computing (Information Systems) students. This marks a major milestone for Sri Lankan students seeking a globally recognised computing degree and software engineering degree with a direct pathway to careers in Japan.

The convocation was graced by H.E. Special awards honoured academic excellence and leadership. In his remarks, Ambassador Isomata praised LNBTI’s commitment to producing Japan-industry-ready graduates and advancing high-quality computing and software engineering education in Sri Lanka.

This historic convocation marks only the beginning of LNBTI’s mission to develop graduates fully prepared for Japan’s technology industry — combining Japanese language, culture, and technical skills into a unique and future-driven degree pathway.
