Partnership with University of Moratuwa

" University of Moratuwa is the country's leading technological higher education institute excelling both locally and globally.

Lanka Nippon BizTech Institute (LNBTI) launched its Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) External Degree program in 2018 with the partnership of the University of Moratuwa. University of Moratuwa is one of the best universities in Sri Lanka in offering information technology related courses.

Shortage of IT professionals has become even more critical if the growth plans of IT sector companies are taken into account. The student intake to the state universities cannot be adequately increased to meet this demand, due to lack of physical infrastructure and human resources. The BIT degree at LNBTI is to offer higher quality education and a high-tech Japanese environment to study in along with state-of-art facilities, research opportunities and industrial exposure. Along with a strong focus on graduate employability the BIT students of LNBTI will also get the opportunity to apply for jobs and Masters’ degree programs.
