At LNBTI, we believe in a philosophy that goes beyond simply learning. We instill a shared vision of educating our students to create a brighter and better tomorrow through the power of information technology.
In spite of its status as a developing nation, Sri Lanka is blessed with a smart and well educated student population. However, with fierce competition to enter state run universities coupled with the escalating cost of living, many promising individuals are forced to abandon their higher education dreams. Those that do qualify for university placements or are able to afford the cost of private higher education, often struggle to find rewarding careers for their unique skillsets; particularly in the field of IT.
It is with this understanding, that we at LNBTI, offer multiple opportunities to talented students, coupled with exposure to the latest in technological innovations, thanks to our unique partnerships with prestigious Japanese universities and industry.
Our student population comprises of individuals from all walks of life and at LNBTI our objective is to offer them an enriching learning experience which breaks down the barriers of social inequality and empowers them to progress into global IT industry.
WHAT IS LNBTI DOING TO SUPPORT YOUNG MINDS LOOKING FOR KNOWLEDGE AND OPPORTUNITIES?
With the partnership of Japanese & UK Universities and with the approval of Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) in Sri Lanka, LNBTI operates a unique set of courses. Through our scholarship programme, many underprivileged but talented Sri Lankan students are getting benefitted. This programme was initiated with the hope that the best of Sri Lanka’s youth are not left behind in pursuing their dreams that can set the nation on a pathway to progress and in turn, change the world for the better.
LNBTI students receive a combination of soft skill training and familiarization with the impeccable standards of Japanese corporate culture that helps foster disciplined individuals with a fine eye for detail and the curiosity to challenge the norm. The on-campus Robotics Club allows students a platform to put theory in motion and is the stepping stone for transforming creativity into innovation.
Together with education in LNBTI & its partner universities and through proper professional experience in Japanese IT industry, LNBTI has created the perfect path for Sri Lankan students to be globally employed. Funded through local and international corporations, foundations and private donors, LNBTI hopes its scholarship program will create a sustainable ecosystem for students enthusiastic on IT to face their financial challenges with confidence.
