Degrees Programmes

Learn and inspire

Discover the Possibilities.

LNBTI presently offers two degree pathways leading up to a transfer to a Japanese University for completion of the 3rd stage of the programme; namely Software Engineering and Information Technology.  As an international student, our study program proves invaluable in helping you adjust to academics and life on campus in Japan.

Designed on par with IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and ACM (Association for Computing) curricular standards, the LNBTI Degree Pathway programme mirrors the impeccable standards of Japanese universities.

The programme integrates key topics of learning such as advanced mathematics, physics, humanities and social sciences which are an integral part of adapting to work in the Japanese computer industry. This is undertaken in the setting of a private campus in Sri Lanka, in the heart of Maharagama.

In the final year, students will gain exposure to advanced computing disciplines such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Cyber Security and Game Development. This is further supplanted by a 1 year industrial placement in a reputed IT company in Sri Lanka, coordinated through LNBTI’s Career Guidance Unit.

Throughout the course of their study, all students of LNBTI receive comprehensive exposure to Japanese language and culture, seamlessly integrated into their learning experience as part of the curricular.

Upon completion of the Degree Pathway and meeting the entry criteria of the selected Japanese university, students  are eligible to enter the 3rd year of same.

Graduates Sought After by Industry

Students of LNBTI have seen many industrial internships turn into full time job offers, owing in part to the many development projects ongoing in Sri Lanka; a result of close bilateral relations between both countries. As Japan continues to experience an ongoing national crisis concerning its aging population and declining workforce, the demand for skilled labour is on the rise. As such, the recent past has seen many of our nation’s talented youth, making significant inroads in reputed Japanese companies.

Graduates of LNBTI carry hallmark qualities of reliability, innovative spirit, disciplined work ethic and impeccable business etiquette with them; reflective of the Japanese culture. Combined with a superior degree pathway program, an expert academic panel and an eagerness for entrepreneurship, our students continue to stand a cut above the rest.
