Appreciation of the model of LNBTI University – H.E. Rodney Perera, Sri Lankan Ambassador to Japan

H.E. Rodney Perera, the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Japan, conveyed his appreciation to Professor Ananda for his 40 years’ experience in Japan and his impactful role as Vice Chancellor of LNBTI University. He also acknowledged Koga-San for founding the institution and commended the contributions of hSenid Company and LNBTI staff as well.

Ambassador emphasized the value of LNBTI’s unique educational model, which prepares IT professionals for Japanese companies. He highlighted the university’s rising prestige, marked by a visit from Japan’s Finance Minister and recognition from the Japanese Government to the LNBTI University.

He praised Metatechno and Hsenid Company for their efforts in mitigating Japan’s IT professional shortage. Also highlighted the longstanding Japan-Sri Lanka bond, reinforced by mutual visits from national leaders.

Finally, he stressed the importance of mastering the Japanese language, culture, and etiquette, reinforcing LNBTI’s holistic educational approach.
